PIERS Morgan has hit back at a Twitter critic who accused him of celebrating the coronavirus death toll in the UK. The 55-year-old Good Morning Britain host told the user to "f**k off" in a heated online outburst yesterday.

Piers had tweeted: "BREAKING: UK #coronavirus official death toll rises by 545 in past 24hrs to 35,341. * Real number of COVID-19 related deaths now believed to be 62k. * Govt no longer shows global deaths comparison chart. * UK is currently 2nd worst in the world for reported excess deaths." One Twitter user then replied: "545....

down from 627 last Tuesday. Moving in the right direction. Instead you’d rather celebrate the total number of deaths. Disgusting." The presenter clearly wasn't happy with the follower.
