Only a handful of stores will remain open at the Trafford Centre during the UK-wide lockdown to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
All retail stores selling non-essential items have been closed with immediate effect following the announcement by Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Monday evening (March 23).
Stores which sell necessities, such as food and medicine, will stay open - including supermarkets, health shops and pharmacies.
Shops selling non-essential items, such as clothing and electronics stores; hair, beauty and nail salons will shut. Bosses at the Trafford Centre said they working on a 'partially-closed basis'.
