Vanessa Feltz opened up about a horror incident involving her daughter Allegra, 36, on Wednesday’s episode of This Morning. Speaking on the incident, the 62-year-old explained how her daughter was walking back home from work wearing trainers on Friday night, when she was involved in a horrific accident. "She went flying on an uneven slab of pavement,” the TV personality told hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard. “She hurtled through the air and we think that she hit her face as she fell on another sticking up, jagged, uneven slab of pavement.” The revelation had the hosts gasping in shock as Vanessa explained her daughter was “extremely badly injured,” lying in a “spreading pool of her own blood,” in Hendon, North West London. “Nobody knew which bit of her was bleeding,” she continued explaining that Allegra couldn’t move and had to be taken to hospital in an ambulance.
As Vanessa explained the story on This Morning, she told viewers that Allegra was currently having an MRI scan, as she has an elbow broken in two places.
She also suffered a laceration under the chin which had to be stitched up, as well as a black eye and cuts over her face and body.
She explained that her hand and shoulder may also be broken. Allegra returned from the hospital past midnight that night, as Vanessa emotionally described her looking like a “broken bird.” Previously, the star spoke about the incident on LBC and said the phone lines were jammed with people all over the country who could relate to falling on the uneven pavements.
