Tragedy as 'beautiful' woman, 30, killed in horror ambulance crash

The family of a 30-year-old woman who died in an ambulance crash have shared their sorrow. They described Lauren McFarland as a "beautiful, caring and confident person" who had just come back from her dream trip to the Himalayas.

Lauren passed away at the scene of the accident on the A66 in Cumbria. The collision, involving her car and an ambulance, happened near Keswick.
