Give and Take Food Boxes have been popping up around North Inch and Muirton thanks to a new scheme designed to help those in need.The initiative is a collaboration between North Inch and Muirton Community Council and Zero Waste Perth.Local residents are being asked to contribute what they can in terms of non-perishables to fellow residents who are at-risk and in need during the COVID-19 pandemic.The hope is to have up to a dozen boxes positioned at various locations around the area and organisers say no sooner are the boxes going up than they get filled.The community council’s Facebook post about the project has been flooded with interest, receiving over 16,000 hits since it went up over the weekend.There is one at: Riverside Church;
