Two teenagers have been rushed to hospital after a car overturned on the M602. Police have closed off part of the Salford motorway since the early hours of this morning (June 1).
Emergency services were called out to the scene at around 12.40am, following a crash involving one car. Police believe it crashed into an embankment between the M60 at Eccles Interchange and junction two for Trafford Park.
The driver, an 18-year-old man, has been taken to hospital with serious injuries. A 19-year-old man, who was a passenger in the car, has also been taken to hospital. A force spokesperson said: "The road remains closed at this time, and we thank the public for their patience whilst our officers conduct enquiries." A diversion is in place while police continue their work.
