A resident of Brixham, who is yet to receive an official diagnosis of cryptosporidium but lives within the confirmed outbreak areas, has spoken out about the 'horrific' pain she has experienced over the past week.
She also expressed her feeling of being 'insulted' by South West Water's (SWW) compensation offer of £15 after being assured that her water was safe to drink.
Jenna, who resides in Raddicombe Close, near Hillhead with her partner and their 18-month-old Cocker Spaniel Mirri, have all been suffering from diarrhoea and vomiting recently, as have their neighbours.
On May 15, the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) announced that the number of confirmed cases of cryptosporidium following the outbreak in Brixham has increased by six, bringing the total to 22 cases.
