A Place in the Sun star Jonnie Irwin left his wife a huge fortune and estate in his will after his tragic death of lung cancer.

The TV presenter, who was 50 at the time of his death in February, became a household name after hosting shows including Escape To The Country and A Place in the Sun.

The well-loved TV star was diagnosed with lung cancer four years before he sadly lost his battle with the disease earlier this year, leaving behind his wife Jessica Irwin and three children. It was reported that his final will was signed in October 2022, with the star leaving everything to his wife. The fan-favourite presenter had £956,967 in assets, which was reduced to £953,425 after deductions, as reported by The Sun.
