Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan (born 30 March 1965) is an English broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality. He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week. Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

Alan Sugar has branded Piers Morgan "an utter disgrace" and a "bully" over latest his rant as he took aim at Home Office minister Victoria Atkins on Good Morning Britain today.

Piers grilled the Minister for Safeguarding in a furious debate over PPE failures, and at one point he accused her of laughing in an excruciating interview.

Many viewers applauded Piers for holding the government to account during the coronavirus crisis, but his latest interview riled up his longtime nemesis Alan Sugar.

The Apprentice boss called him out in a scathing message on Twitter, branding him a "bully" and asking if his mum would be proud of the way he behaved on TV.
