Amanda Holden's 18 year old daughter, Lexi, was hospitalised after being diagnosed with E. coli. The Britain's Got Talent judge shared that her daughter spent five days in the hospital due to severe stomach cramps and bloating, which Amanda initially attributed to exam stress.

Speaking to The Sun, Amanda, who recently broke down during a marriage confession, disclosed that she took Lexi to their GP to investigate the cause of her discomfort.

After undergoing a series of tests, it was determined that Lexi had contracted a bacterial infection.The TV star was contacted by government officials who asked Amanda to complete paperwork to determine how Lexi might have caught the infection.

It turned out that Lexi had contracted "VTEC E.Coli, a very harmful strain of bacteria that's very rare in humans". Amanda shared that Lexi became sick before the E.
