The Great British Bake Off has unveiled its 2024 line-up of bakers ahead of the Channel 4 show's return.The baking show has become a must-watch on our TV due to its tricky baking tasks, cheeky innuendos, soggy bottoms and, of course, the iconic Paul Hollywood handshake.

It's now been officially confirmed that the fifteenth series of The Great British Bake Off will kick off on 24 Tuesday, September at 8pm.

A fresh batch of twelve bakers will step into the tent and compete against each other for the coveted cake stand and the honour of being crowned Bake Off champion, reports the Mirror.

The new contestants include a university student, a car mechanic and a palliative care nurse.They'll be aiming to impress returning judges Paul Hollywood and Dame Prue Leith, while hosts Noel Fielding and Alison Hammond provide their support and commentary on their baking skills.
