The Prime Minister is facing renewed pressure to sack Dominic Cummings after it emerged he broke lockdown rules a second time.

Boris Johnson offered his "full support" to his chief adviser yesterday after the Mirror revealed Mr Cummings and his family travelled 264 miles to Durham in March to self-isolate.

Despite strict guidance against unnecessary travel, Downing Street has said the trip was justified because he needed relatives in the North East to help with childcare after he and his wife Mary Wakefield fell ill with suspected coronavirus.
