Davina McCall made a surprise appearance on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, just weeks after undergoing brain surgery.The 57 year old left hosts Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly stunned when she suddenly joined them in a live video at the weekend while still in recovery.

Following the main show of I'm A Celeb on Saturday, 23 November, Ant and Dec took to Instagram for a live video and were sent a message from Davina.

She told the Geordie duo: "Hey everyone! Still here" alongside a laughing emoji. Her appearance delighted everyone in the ITV studio Down Under, and a thrilled Dec replied: "Hey Davina McCall is here everybody!" before Ant jumped in: "Hope you are feeling well, sending you lots of love from the jungle." Davina signed off shortly after, which prompted Ant to joke: "We were too much for her, we were too loud." Her brief return to social media comes after she underwent brain surgery last week to remove a 14mm benign tumour.

Following the surgery, her partner Michael Douglas, who has been posting from Davina’s account as she goes "off grid", explained that she was "utterly exhausted" but it had been a "textbook" operation for the surgeon. "Hey all.
