Max George has opened up, revealing the need for heart surgery "way quicker" than initially anticipated by medical professionals due to pressing health concerns.
The 36-year-old member of The Wanted recently shared that he might require a pacemaker, and following a comprehensive CT scan of his heart, it emerged that his heart rate had not increased "in almost a week".Taking to Instagram, Max posted: "Had a little day trip today.
Full CT scan on my heart. Not something I'd choose to do again! As I mentioned yesterday, I have a 2:1 block in my heart. Unfortunately, my heart rate hasn't picked up at all in almost a week."Expressing the urgency of the situation, the singer continued: "Because of this, we don't have too much time to wait so it looks like I'm going to be in surgery way quicker than the doctors first thought.
I may even be home for Christmas!" Although he experienced a challenging few nights, Max expressed how he has been left feeling "overwhelmed" by the outpour of support from his fans as reported by the Manchester Evening News.He expressed his gratitude saying: "The last few nights have been really rough, but I wanted to say that I'm absolutely humbled by all your messages of support.
