Ian Wright suffered a fall on Monday night just weeks after undergoing knee surgery. The former Arsenal player co-hosted the draw for the Women's Euros on Monday at the Swiss Tech Convention Centre in Lausanne, Switzerland, when the incident happened.
Wright had to be helped by Leonardo Bonucci and Sami Khedira after tripping down the stairs. Ian had previously had knee-surgery and was really shaken up by the fall.
The football legend was given an ice pack and fortunately escaped the fall with no serious injuries. He was able to journey back to Manchester for a planned flight, and is understood to be in good spirts, reports the Mirror.Ian underwent knee replacement surgery seven weeks ago, which resulted in him using a wheelchair, and Monday night was one of the first times he had been on his feet for a long period of time since the surgery. The pundit brushed off the accident as he took to Instagram to share pictures of the event, writing: "Special night co-hosting the Euro 2025 draw with Annette Fetscherin.
