Doctor warns women about the little-known sign of ADHD as cases hit record levels

An estimated 2.6 million people in the UK have attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), but only 600,000 are formally diagnosed, according to ADHD UK.

TikTok videos tagged #adhd have received two billion UK views in the past year alone, helping raise awareness of ADHD and signpost people to reach out for help.

The Financial Times has reported how ADHD cases in women have hit record levels, driven by social media highlighting these symptoms.

Reacting to the new findings,senior psychologist Dr Ana Silvestri at caba, has warned that there’s a little-known symptom which could be a key sign of ADHD and have a big impact on mental wellbeing.

Wrapping up his heartfelt plea, Adam sought alternative experiences, asking: "Has anyone been on methotrexate and moved to something else that worked for them? any help or advice would be great x," reports the Mirror. Fans were quick to flood the comments with support and advice, with many offering different remedies.
