Matt Willis has revealed that his marriage to Emma Willis wouldn't have survived if he had waited for an ADHD diagnosis on the NHS.The former Busted star was joined on his podcast, On The Mend, by his psychiatrist, Dr James Kustow, to discuss the condition.
Matt, who received his diagnosis around four years ago, said it was a life-changing experience, but ADHD specialist Dr Kustow explained that some people are forced to wait five years for a diagnosis through the NHS.
Matt shared: "I was really lucky to go private and find this out, you know. Like, if I was going through the NHS and waiting five years, I don't know what would have happened in that time." He added: "You know, I think my marriage would have collapsed for a start, if I'm honest.That's definitely what would've happened, you know.", reports the Express.
The star continued: "But I think... I think then we have the problem of the resources out there to show people what they can do and a step-by-step guide of how to maybe back that...
