Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan (born 30 March 1965) is an English broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality. He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week. Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

First Brit to trial UK's coronavirus vaccine lists scary side-effects

One of the first Brits to test the UK’s coronavirus vaccine has revealed the jab’s side effects in the first week of the trial.

Former children’s TV presenter and novelist Simeon Courtie says he has volunteered himself to try out the new vaccine. He is one of 500 people who have offered to be a guinea pig for the trial in Oxford which started human testing only this week.

He appeared on Good Morning Britain today to speak about the side-effects he is set to experience from the vaccine. Simeon told presenters Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid that he will experience flu-like symptoms.
