Piers Morgan
Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan (born 30 March 1965) is an English broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality. He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week. Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

Piers Morgan hit with 1000 more Ofcom complaints after latest Helen Whately row

Piers Morgan has sparked another 966 Ofcom complaints after his second row with Helen Whately on Good Morning Britain. The 55-year-old television presenter was having a fiery debate with the the Health and Social Care Minister on Wednesday's show.

He slated her for not knowing the country's care home death toll amid the coronavirus crisis. As he blasted the MP for Faversham and Mid Kent, he branded the situation in care homes a "scandal of epic proportions".

Viewers were enraged after seeing his brutal interview with the MP and felt he was being too harsh. Their first clash last week sparked nearly 2,000 complaints to Ofcom, and now this one already has 966.
