Coronation Street's former star, Georgia May Foote, has pasted on social media that she had to undergo an emergency surgery, putting her work on hold.
Known for her role as Katy Armstrong in the beloved ITV soap, the 33-year-old switched from acting to becoming a nail technician and currently provides services at a beauty salon in Manchester.
She took to Instagram on Saturday, July 27, to reveal a sudden hospital visit has forced her to take time away from work. The former actress says she won't know how long it will take her to recover from the surgery and she may be unable to work for a while.
Sharing uncertainty over her recovery timeline through her salon's Instagram handle GMFNails, she told her followers: "Clients booked in last week, I just wanted to let you know that I had last-minute surgery today.
