Helen Flanagan has been flooded with messages of support as she shared a 'nightmare' health update. The actress previously opened up about how she has "always struggled" with her hormones and had been searching for a solution.
In May, Helen shared how she turned to medication at the end of last year, opting to try a contraceptive pill to see if it would help with her hormones.
However, she admitted it made her feel "so sick" and she was left looking for alternative ways to help. She then said she'd started working with a womb and menstrual cycle awareness educator who she claims has helped her to "understand her body" more. Helen shared a lengthy post about her struggle with premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), a condition similar to PMS or PMT, that also happens in the week or two before your period starts as hormone levels begin to fall after ovulation.
