These are the life skills that help children and teens better understand and deal with feelings (both their own and others’), have positive social relationships, and make better decisions.

And perhaps not surprisingly, these skills are highly correlated with improved academic performance as well as overall success and happiness.For children with ADHD, and the core traits of inattention and impulsivity, SEL skills can be difficult to master and use consistently.
