Liverpool players arrived at training on Monday with group exercises set to commence on Tuesday. Players have had to train individually amid the coornavirus pandemic but Premier League chief executive Richard Masters says they expect to have the first batch of test results by Tuesday.
And once they are received, training in groups, while maintaining social distancing, is set to be allowed. The likes of forward Roberto Firmino, Adam Lallana and James Milner all appeared on Monday at Liverpool’s Melwood facility.
Takumi Minamino, defender Andrew Robertson and Georginio Wijnaldum were also seen arriving in their cars for their individual slots.
