Manchester's Nightingale coronavirus hospital is recruiting for 200 roles

Manchester's new coronavirus hospital, the 'Nightingale of the North', is recruiting facilities staff. Interserve has been tasked with delivering catering, cleaning, maintenance, portering, concierge and waste management services.

Around 200 facilities roles are available ahead of the hospital's opening at Manchester Central on Sunday, April 12. When finished, the Nightingale will house 650 beds for COVID-19 patients, with capacity for another 100 beds, should they be required.

The majority of patients will be those in process of being 'stepped-down' from ICU and critical care beds at neighbouring hospitals.
