Nicola Sturgeon says the first thing she’ll do after the coronavirus lockdown is lifted is hug her parents and mother-in-law.
But the First Minister hinted there may have to be a gradual easing of restrictions depending on how bad things get. Speaking during an interview with Radio Clyde that will be broadcast on Friday morning, she said the wrong timescale of lifting the lockdown could see the virus escalate again.She said: “In all likelihood it will be a phased approach but if I was to say that categorically right now I’d be saying something that I don’t know for sure.“Because we don’t have the data and the evidence yet to base those judgements on and we need to have that so that whatever it is we’re doing and whatever the phasing is
