Coronavirus latest: Positive cases of COVID-19 in Ayrshire and Arran hit 221

There are now 221 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Ayrshire and Arran.The latest figures show a further 22 people have been confirmed as having tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.It represents a hike from yesterday's figure of 199.First Minister Nicola Sturgeon earlier revealed that 2,602 people in Scotland had tested positive - an increase of 292 from Wednesday.A further 50 deaths were confirmed today, taking the number of fatalities in Scotland to 126.In the UK 2,921 deaths have now been confirmed - an increase of 568 in the last 24 hours.
