There are now 100 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Dumfries and Galloway.The latest figures show a further eight people have been confirmed as having tested positive for Covid-19 in the past 24 hours, moving the tally up from yesterday's figure of 92.First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has revealed that as of 9am, 2,310 people in Scotland had tested positive - an increase of 317 from Tuesday.

1,153 people are in hospital with confirmed or suspected Covid-19 with 147 people in intensive care.She added a further 16 people who had tested positive had died, taking the Scottish deaths up to 76.The First Minister aims for up to 3,500 people a day to be tested by the end of April.
