An agency nurse who 'grabbed' a pregnant colleague and 'kissed her lower stomach' in a staff room at the Royal Oldham Hospital has been struck off.

Mowbrey Madondile was reported to the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and a disciplinary case was brought against him for misconduct after the incident that left his colleague 'frozen in shock'.

It was alleged that on the evening of July 15 2022, the woman had entered the staff break room. It was just herself and Mr Madondile in there when he then asked to kiss her stomach after she told him she was pregnant. The woman then 'quickly' left the room before informing the nurse in charge of the night shift, who escalated the incident to senior staff, according to the NMC hearing document from earlier this month.
