Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan (born 30 March 1965) is an English broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality. He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week. Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

PIERS Morgan has hit out at Madonna after she posted a video where she sings into a hairbrush about fried fish from her bathroom.

The 54-year-old Good Morning Britain host shared the clip, filmed while she was stuck at home during the coronavirus crisis, wailing: "No no no no no. ⚠️ Read our coronavirus live blog for the latest news & updates "I can take anything in this crisis but these toe-curling celebrity isolation videos." The 61-year-old singer baffled fans on Friday as she sung: "Come on, go, let’s go eat some fried fish… "Come on, vogue, I mean go… cause there’s no more pasta, oh no, we’re gonna eat some fried fish, yeah." One fan called the impromptu performance, which came complete with dance moves, "peak cringe".
