Fears Brits will break lockdown during scorching weekend before new rules on Monday

There are growing fears that this weekend's warm weather will prompt Brits to break coronavirus social distancing laws before they're officially relaxed on Monday.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced that from June 1, those in England are allowed to gather in groups of up to six people and can gather in private gardens, although they must remain two metres from anyone not in their household.

Police have warned that the promise of seeing friends and family is simply too tempting for many people to ignore until Monday, especially with sunny weather and high temperatures expected for much of the country.
