Sir Rod Stewart shared a sweet moment with a superfan from a Glasgow hospital at Celtic's Champions League clash with Bayern Munich.
Dementia patient Harriet Rozanski met Sir Rod at the hospitality suite at Celtic Park on Wednesday, February 13, and the pair even enjoyed a song and dance together.The 74-year-old, who suffers from vascular dementia, has been at the New Stobhill Hospital for more than a year where her bed is decorated with pictures of the singer.
Staff decided they would try and arrange a special surprise for her.Consultant Geriatrician Dr Aine McGovern and Senior Charge Nurse Helena Connolly reached out to Rod and asked him to record a message for Harriet.
But the singer decided to go one further and asked her along to meet him in person.Dr McGovern said it was a wonderful occasion and paid thanks to the Celtic Foundation.
