Rodri has returned to the Manchester City training ground for the first time since undergoing surgery on an anterior crucicate ligament injury sustained in September.
The 28-year-old was back at the CFA on Friday to see his teammates and staff and bought along the Ballon d'Or trophy he won earlier this month.
Rodri will show off that award to the Etihad crowd before kick-off against Tottenham on Saturday. He was the first City player to win the game's highest individual honour, but since having surgery in Madrid he has remained with family in Spain rather than returning to Manchester. He also confirmed that the Spaniard would be back at the training ground permanently from January, when he will step up his rehab. "It's nice to see him back.
