A man has been rushed to hospital following a car crash in Oldham. Police closed off a section of Shaw Road following the incident at around 8.30pm on Tuesday night (December 3).
Police, firefighters and paramedics all attended the scene. Two cars were involved in the incident, according to Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS).
Greater Manchester Police shared an image from Shaw Road, showing part of the street taped off. The force had warned people to avoid the area between Arnold Street and Egerton Street in a post on social media shortly after 9pm. Another car can be seen, alongside police vehicles. A spokesperson for GMFRS said: “At around 8.30pm on Tuesday 3 December, fire crews were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Shaw Road, Oldham.
