The sister of a man who is fighting for his life following a stabbing says their family has been left 'numb' by the vicious attack.
Police are at the scene on Siddow Common, in Leigh, as detectives investigate the incident on Tuesday evening (December 3). Emergency services were called out to the scene at 6.50pm.
Greater Manchester Police says two men in their 40s were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. The victim remains in a life-threatening condition at hospital, the force confirmed today (Wednesday).
