A man has been found dead at a block of flats in North Ayrshire. Emergency services raced to Montgomerie Street in Ardrossan after receiving reports of a disturbance at 8.30pm on Tuesday.Crews attended and a 59-year-old man was found dead in a flat.He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The BBC reports that a 24-year-old woman was also found injured outside the building.She was rushed to Crosshouse Hospital in Kilmarnock, where her current condition is unknown.
