Suspect season 2 cast: Who stars in the new episodes alongside Anne-Marie Duff?
Suspect's second series is set to return on Wednesday, July 24, with episodes five and six ready to grip audiences. The psychological drama made a strong return earlier this month, featuring Anne-Marie Duff as the central character Dr Susannah Newman.
Following the success of its first season which aired on Channel 4 in 2022 with James Nesbitt playing police officer Danny Frater, the second season continues the unique storytelling approach.
Each episode is a two-hander, focusing on intense interactions between just two characters. Anne-Marie has previously shared her thoughts on the show's distinctive structure, she said: "One of the lovely things about this show is that it has a very specific conceit.
Most of the episodes are two-handers and that was set up in the first series and continued in the second series. It is a fantastic thing to see two actors really just playing with each other for a solid half an hour.
