Whitney Port is opening up about the state of her health. The 38-year-old fashion designer and author revealed a month ago that she had received a diagnosis for “a type of disordered eating” and was seeking professional help. The Hills alum revealed that her best friend Andrea had expressed her concerns about Whitney‘s weight loss and recommended a “nutritionist/psychiatrist” to her. Whitney shared that according to her therapist, she has “neurovegetative depression,” which impacts her energy and motivation. Whitney also said that she’s on antidepressants, and that they’re “working great.” Last month on the podcast, Whitney described her eating behaviors as “more out of laziness” and “pickiness and that I just go hungry and don’t care.” She continued, “I think, though, that it is a type of disordered eating.
That’s not OK. That’s not healthy. I’m obviously not giving my body the nutrients that it needs.” Back in July, Whitney Port took to Instagram to address concerns about her weight.
