Air ambulance scrambled to incident in Rochdale with road blocked off
An air ambulance was scrambled to an incident in Rochdale on Monday afternoon (November 4) with an area taped off by police.
Emergency services, including police and paramedics, were called to reports of the medical episode near to the Cutgate shopping centre, along Edenfield Road.
It is understood a man suffered a cardiac arrest. Witnesses said he was seen being given first aid and CPR at the scene before being rushed to hospital. A road closure was put in place for a short time at around 2.30pm as emergency crews worked at the scene. The man was later taken to hospital from the scene.
