All Creatures Great and Small has solidified its place in Channel 5 since its revival four years ago in 2020. The cherished show just wrapped up its fifth series, more than three decades after the original series, which concluded with its seventh season in 1990.
In the show, viewers follow the adventures of vet James Herriot and his wife Helen in the Yorkshire Dales, inspired by a series of books written by Alf Wight.
The first series, consisting of six episodes and a Christmas special, was filmed to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the first book's release in the James Herriot series.
On 23 February 2024, PBS confirmed that the show had been renewed for a fifth and sixth series, with Callum Woodhouse returning as Tristan Farnon, reports Express.
