A fresh health update has been given on Strictly Come Dancing's Amy Dowden after a health scare that saw her rushed to hospital during the live show on Saturday night (October 26).

The professional dancer, 34, who made a full return to the BBC dance contest this year following a battle with cancer, was notably absent from Sunday's results show after she allegedly 'collapsed' after her performance with JB Gill.

Strictly host Tess Daly addressed the audience during the results show, stating: "Before we get started, Amy is unable to be with us for tonight's show," before quickly moving on with the programme. An update on her health was shared on ITV's Lorraine on Monday (October 28), where Ranvir Singh addressed the news and said: "It has since been revealed that she is feeling much better and of course she is one of our family here." She continued with well-wishes: " We wish her a speedy recovery, my love.
