Fans were left gobsmacked after Davina McCall revealed she had surgery for a brain tumour last week. The TV star shared the shocking news on social media just as she was preparing for the operation.
Now, after spending time in intensive care to recover from the procedure, the Masked Singer judge has opened up about the chilling words her doctor said to her before the surgery.
On the Making the Cut podcast she co-hosts with boyfriend Michael Douglas, Davina recalled speaking to a neurosurgeon who "showed me my brain".
She described the experience as "the weirdest thing ever". Davina continued: "He pointed it out to me that it [the tumour] is right in the middle of my brain" and then went on to explain how colloid cysts are very rare, with only three people in a million being diagnosed. These cysts are small fluid-filled sacs located in or around the lateral and third ventricle of the brain, reports the Mirror.
