Brits have flocked to beaches across the country to enjoy the sunny weather ahead of lockdown restrictions being eased on Monday.

Hundreds took advantage of the heatwave to swarm to popular beaches, and the National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers (RMT) complained that “mixed messages” from the Government has caused "travel chaos".

Prime Minister Boris Johnson confirmed on Thursday that groups of six people will be able to meet up in parks and private gardens from Monday as he confirmed the next steps for easing lockdown measures.
