And my left eye’s not the greatest.” Due to his vision struggles, Elton has affected his ability to work, so the release of his next album has been put on hold. “There’s hope and encouragement that it will be OK, but I’m kind of stuck in the moment because I can do something like this,” Elton shared, referring to the sit-down interview. “But going into the studio and recording, I don’t know.
Because I can’t see, literally, for start.” Elton went on to say that the vision loss “floored” him, but he’s “taking initiative to try and get it better.” However, he explained, “I can’t see anything, I can’t read anything, I can’t watch anything.” “It’s been awhile since I’ve done anything and I just have to get off my backside,” Elton added. Elton also recently addressed the possibility of touring again in the future.
