Coronation Street is to bring back a previous character 'from the dead' amid cuts to the cast. Spoilers for upcoming scenes in the ITV soap have revealed that Abi Webster will struggle to come to terms with recent events.
There were emotional scenes in Weatherfield to kick off the new year as Mason Radcliffe became the victim of a knife attack at the hands of his own brothers, Matty and Logan, despite Abi's best efforts to help him.
As viewers of the long-running show saw, Matty and Logan weren't carrying the knife, but Mason's terrified pal Dylan Wilson tried to protect him with the bladed article, only for his decision to end in Mason's horrifying death.
During Monday night's (January 6) trip to Weatherfield, Matty and Logan attacked Mason and Dylan as Mason tried to retrieve some family photos from their flat to take with him to Germany after accepting a job offer from Stu Carpenter.
