Kerry Katona has asked her fans to pray for her mum Sue, after she was rushed to hospital over the weekend. In a video on Instagram, Kerry revealed what happened, and started by saying: “Hi everybody, please excuse the state of me, I haven’t been to bed since 3am, not this morning, the day before.” She continued: “I’ve taken my mum into hospital, we’ve had no sleep, for those of you who are aware, thank you all so very much for the messages. The hospital found clots on my mum’s lungs, so she’s not in a good way, I’m absolutely exhausted.” She added: “I need to get some sleep so I can get to the hospital and be there for my mum.

I’ve come back to my mum’s flat, because it’s closest to the hospital, so I can get back there. Big love to you mum. You really scared me.

I could throttle you. But I got her to the hospital and that's the main thing. And I stayed with her. It was absolutely exhausting, I need to get some sleep.

My mum sends her love to everybody, I asked everybody to say a prayer to keep her strong and keep her fighting.” Kerry captioned the post with the words: "Thank you all for your texts and messages sorry if I’ve not replied but I really need to get some sleep so I can be at my best for my mum.
