Charlie Quirke, son of Pauline Quirke, has expressed his gratitude to fans for their outpouring of support following the revelation of his mother's private battle with dementia.The beloved Birds of a Feather actress's husband, Steve Sheen, made the heart-wrenching announcement that she will be withdrawing from all public and commercial engagements to cherish time with her loved ones.
In a statement, Steve shared: "It is with a heavy heart that I announce my wife Pauline's decision to step back from all professional and commercial duties due to her diagnosis of Dementia in 2021." Pauline's final public outing took place in February 2023, before going public with her diagnosis.
After the news broke, Charlie turned to social media to acknowledge the overwhelming support, noting that the kind messages have brought joy to the entire family.
Sharing a touching photo of himself arm-in-arm with his mum, he posted: "Hi all, I just wanted to say a massive thank you to all of you for your messages of support, kind words about my beautiful mum and stories you have.
