Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Teddi Mellencamp has shared a heartbreaking update after being diagnosed with brain cancer.The reality TV star, 43, disclosed that she is now battling stage four cancer following the discovery of six new tumours in her brain earlier this year.Teddi has bravely faced over 20 surgeries in her two-and-a-half-year battle with the disease.
Now, she has explained how her cancer has metastasised to her lungs and brain in a heartbreaking update.The daughter of rock legend John Mellencamp, Teddi is confronted with the harrowing thought of her three children - daughters Slate, 12, Cruz, 10, and Dove, five - potentially facing a future without their mother.
In an intimate conversation with US Weekly, Teddi said: "I had six brain tumours and two lung tumours; they all came from melanoma that metastasised into these tumours inside of my body." She further detailed how the recent findings have necessitated a shift in her treatment approach. "I find out for sure exactly where we stand on June 1," Teddi revealed, reports the Mirror. "If you need to do another round, if there's any other surgery, if it's the end.
It's a hard pill to swallow. "It's got to be extremely difficult to think about the end.' This is definitely the hardest thing [I've faced in my life], but now it feels less hard.
