Singer Adele in grim health battle causing pain 'worse than childbirth'

Adele has shockingly confessed to fans that she's been left "partially deaf" after a nasty encounter with a "rare water bacteria" that's notoriously difficult to treat.The 36 year old superstar shared her agonising ordeal, which she described as pain "worse than childbirth" during her stint in Munich last August.

While performing at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, the mum-of-one bravely opened up about her health scare, admitting: "I have an ear infection, which is pretty grim. "I've never had one before.

It's the most painful thing that's ever, ever happened to me. It was worse than childbirth. It's a rare water bacteria. It's very hard to treat.

I was on the wrong antibiotics for a few days and they managed to give me one that started to work." According to The Sun, Adele also revealed the extent of her suffering: "I wanted to chop my ear off a few times.
