Boris Johnson accused of 'copying' Nando's spice ratings for 'five alert' coronavirus plan

Boris Johnson has been accused of 'copying' Nando's PERi-PERi rating system as he set out his "five alert" plan to ease coronavirus lockdown measures.

The Prime Minister addressed the nation in a broadcast from Downing Street to provide the "first sketch of a road map for reopening society".

It included updates on the possible reopening of schools, and rules around sunbathing and outdoor exercise being relaxed from Wednesday.

The plan for future changes to the measures will depend on a 'five alert' system - with Level One meaning the disease is no longer present in the UK and Level Five being the most critical.
