Sebastian Stan and Florence Pugh take the stage on Saturday night (July 27) at San Diego Comic-Con to talk about their new Marvel movie Thunderbolts!
The costars are joining forces for the first time onscreen to save the day as the Winter Soldier and Yelena Belova. Marvel teased some key details about the forthcoming movie while hosting a panel in the San Diego Convention Center. Head inside to read more about the Thunderbolts surprises from Comic-Con… Florence and Sebastian were joined onstage by their costars David Harbour (Red Guardian), Hannah John-Kamen (Ghost), Wyatt Russell (John Walker), Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Valentina Allegra de Fontaine), Lewis Pullman (Sentry) and Geraldine Viswanathan.
Director Jake Schreier was also present with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige. The group of stars shared some fun details about the movie during the panel.
For starters, it was confirmed that Lewis was playing a character named Bob, which fans believe is a reference to Sentry, also known as Robert Reynolds (via Empire Magazine). Florence told Variety that she jumped off the world’s second-tallest building while filming a stunt for the movie. Wyatt wowed that people were going to “f-cking love” his character after his debut in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (via Variety).
